Receive

Let go to receive, relax to receive, be to receive, breathe to receive, release to receive.

You are on your own path, a unique path. It will look different for you than it does for others. You don't need to emulate. The tips, tricks, tools, and teachings have been helpful and necessary. And now you can fly on your own path. Not alone, but as your unique imprint. It doesn't matter who receives it, or who rejects it, or who rejects you. It's not personal; it's not about you. You have everything you need to walk this path. It's within you, your internal compass and your connection to the earth, to spirit, and to everything around you. It's time to proceed. You might want to hesitate; you might think you're not ready, but you are. You have been given a gift, and it's ready to be shared through you. Receive. Let go, relax, be, breathe, release to receive.

This message arrived this morning as I was reflecting on a feeling of something within me that wants to be born but is not quite ready. Maybe it was stuck or maybe it was still taking shape. Sometimes I don't even know what it is that wants to be born, I just know and feel that there is something there. Sometimes at the surface or sometimes in the depths.

Have you ever felt stuck in something you know is within you to create, do, share, become, or express? It could be anything—a conversation you want to have, a thing you want to make, a feeling you want to share, a piece you want to produce, a relationship you want to build, the true self you want to reveal. Is this what artists, writers, musicians feel when they sense a painting, a poem, a song coming through but doubt it or fear it or can't quite see or hear it?

More and more, I’m learning that when I’m quiet, still, reflective, and in a receptive posture, that’s when the thing—the gift, the knowing, the step I need to take, the awareness I need to have, the word I need to share—bubbles up to the surface and flows. Sometimes it takes days, months, years, or moments. Practicing a still, quiet, receptive, reflective posture/mindset can support the process.

This morning that bubble-up resulted in the above message. It resonated for me. It was what I needed to hear and what I want to share, in case it resonates for you too.
